https://preo.ube.fr/eclats/index.php?id=603 Nous étudierons Nils Jacket contre l’Agent X et Le Chrysanthème, deux œuvres médiatico-littéraires qui, par leur manière de reconfigurer la disposition matérielle et la lecture du texte narratif, subvertissent le format livresque et mettent ainsi en lumière le caractère virtuel, cognitif et idiosyncratique de ce qui constitue le « récit » tout en posant la question de la cohérence narrative de textes interactifs. En mettant en relation le roman-dont-vous-êtes-le-héros policier Nils Jacket contre l’Agent X (2007) de JFM et Le Chrysanthème (2024), nous examinerons la manière dont ces œuvres, en intégrant des mécaniques ludiques, autorisent, à des degrés divers, une certaine liberté aux lecteurs et lectrices. Nous tenterons ce faisant de saisir les processus interprétatifs et interactifs potentialisés par les dispositifs tantôt inscrits dans le détournement du format livresque, tantôt hors de ce dernier. This article proposes a study of Nils Jacket contre l’Agent X and Le Chrysanthème, as literary works that subvert the book format by reconfiguring the material layout and reading of the narrative text, thus highlighting the virtual, cognitive and idiosyncratic nature of what constitutes “narrative” while also raising the question of narrative coherence within interactive texts. By comparing JFM's crime novel Nils Jacket contre l'Agent X (2007) and Le Chrysanthème (2024), we examine how these works, by incorporating ludic mechanics, allow readers a certain degree of freedom. This will allow us to grasp the interpretative and interactive processes that these devices can bring about, both within and outside the book format.
