La tendance à la disparition de cette œuvre éphémère exige que l’« Archivo Carrión » devienne le lieu où elle soit conservée et sauvegardée. En même temps, le caractère erratique de l’idée d’art qui fonctionne dans cette poétique rend difficile sa préservation. Raisons pour lesquelles, tout au long de cet article, présenté comme un parcours à travers le travail d’Ulises Carrión, émergeront, de manière implicite ou explicite, les notions de « demeure » ou « demourance »4, de « dérive » et d’« errance ». The aim of this article is to explore the ways in which the notions of writing, sending, and archive operate in the work of the Mexican writer — or artist — Ulises Carrión. His body of work proposes a new conception of the book, questioning what might be called, using Derridean terminology, ‘the literary thing’. The tendency toward the disappearance of this ephemeral work requires that the ‘Archivo Carrión’ becomes the place where it is preserved and safeguarded. At the same time, the erratic nature of the idea of art operating within this poetics makes its preservation difficult. For these reasons, throughout this article – conceived as a journey through Carrión’s work — the notions of ‘dwelling’ or ‘demourance’, ‘drift’, and “wandering” emerge, whether implicitly or explicitly.
