Il identifie les deux principaux enjeux de ce travail : l’entreprise de vulgarisation, d’une part, l’intérêt épistémologique, d’autre part. The article reflects on the reasons why its author, an academic historian, chose to become first a comics scriptwriter and then an editor of series devoted to the humanities and social sciences in graphic form. It highlights two main dimensions of this work: on the one hand, the aim of popularization; on the other, its epistemological significance.
