La filiation adoptive, et notamment l’adoption internationale, sont strictement liées à la question identitaire car les parents ainsi que l’enfant (ou les enfants) ressentent dans la plupart des cas le besoin de rechercher et/ou de (re)trouver leur identité de parents et d’enfant adoptifs. À cette recherche identitaire personnelle s’ajoute la nécessité d’une réflexion identitaire nationale, dans une Italie encore attachée à ses traditions, mais qui, désormais, doit se confronter à l’‘Autre-étranger-italien’ et l’accepter. The matter of filiation is at the heart of many questions about the future of the contemporary Italian society, which is confronted with many important changes. The adoptive filiation and above all the international adoption are strictly connected with identity. In fact, parents and child (or children) have to find and/or to regain their own identity by fostering parents and child. This personal identity seeking also exists at a national level, since traditions are still very strong in Italy.
