La palette des sentiments exprimés dans leur poésie est variée et rejoint celle des plus grands poètes de leur temps, mais les thèmes évoqués le sont souvent en lien avec la problématique de l’étroitesse du champ d’action et d’expression des femmes. Il s’agit d’une poésie des rêves brisés, même si l’ambition artistique et le credo esthétique qui affleurent dans les œuvres et les correspondances laissent envisager une carrière poétique à la hauteur des espérances de ces écrivaines. The poetic journey of Karoline von Günderrode and Louise Brachmann is typical of the access to writing available to the first German poetesses in the Romantic period. The wide range of feelings expressed in their poetry is of a piece with the greatest poets of their time, but the evoked themes are often related to the limitations imposed on women’s actions and means of expression. Certaines contraintes poétiques sont à l’œuvre dès les compositions les plus anciennes de lyrisme féminin en Espagne (cantigas de amigo) et l’on observe des constantes formelles et thématiques dans des chants traditionnels ultérieurs (romancero et cancionero). L’analyse porte ensuite sur l’œuvre poétique de Violeta Parra (Décimas et certaines canciones), qui opère des choix formels habituellement réservés aux auteurs masculins. Cet exemple emblématique permet de s’interroger sur les rôles qu’endossent les voix poématiques féminines pour extérioriser leur moi intime. The present study is centered on the Spanish-speaking world in a diachronic perspective, and aims to highlight recognizable recurring elements in compositions in which a poetic feminine voice expresses its feelings. Some poetic constraints are at work from the earliest compositions of female lyricism in Spain (cantigas de amigo) and one notices formal and thematic constants in more recent traditional songs (romancero and cancionero). Our analysis focuses then on the poetic work of Violeta Parra (Décimas and some canciones), who has made formal choices which are usually exclusively used by masculine authors. Cet article montre comment Stella Engama fait émerger un moi féminin en nette opposition avec le lyrisme masculin, faisant ainsi de la poésie un genre militant contre les clichés et les stéréotypes sentimentaux. Il s’agit en outre d’analyser la manière dont la poétesse, en scrutant la relation entre le ‘mal-être oxymore’ et les rapports sociaux de sexe, inscrit ledit ‘mal-être’ dans la dynamique de révélation d’une femme neuve, susceptible de trouver le bonheur sentimental. If the collection of poems Invente-moi et paroles intimes of the Cameroonian poetess Stella Engama offers itself as the denunciation of the contradictions born of a problematic relationship, it can also be seen as the stylization of the relationship between the oxymoronic malaise resulting from affairs of the heart and the relations between the sexes in society. This article shows how Stella Engama brings forth a feminine self in sharp opposition to masculine lyricism, thus making poetry a militant genre, working against clichés and sentimental stereotypes.
