La poésie tuénienne y est, à la fois, l’âme d’une terre ruinée, la conscience d’une combattante qui entre en conflit avec le monde extérieur et l’explosion des sentiments les plus réels d’un moi féminin qui embrasse un champ universel dans des vers libérés de toute contrainte formelle. L’étude montre, dans un premier temps, que la poésie tuénienne manifeste la révolte d’une femme qui s’élève contre la guerre, d’une part, et contre ses compatriotes vouées au mutisme dans une société patriarcale, d’autre part. Dans un second temps, la poésie est présentée comme dévoilement d’une femme « mobile » (Bachelard 1943 : 293) qui arrive, au moyen d’une ascension imaginaire, à se libérer des attaches existentielles pour retenir le temps et transfigurer le monde. “Archives sentimentales d’une guerre au Liban” or in other words “Sentimental Archives of a War in Lebanon” is a collection of poems born in time of war in 1982. The Lebanese poetess Nadia Tueni, author of this collection, was in search for freedom beginning with the relationship with her homeland to reach this world of conventions and values. Poems of Tueni are, at the same time, the soul of a devastated land, the consciousness of a fighter in conflict with the outside world and the outburst of real feelings of a womanly “me” embracing an extensive and universal field in verses of poems without any formal constraint. Our study shows, in the first part, that Tueni’s poetry is the revolt of a woman who protested against the war on one hand, and against her fellows doomed to silence in a patriarchal society on the other hand.
