Notre étude sera effectuée en deux temps : nous analyserons d’abord les éléments sémantiques et poétiques (répétition, récurrence, rythme, division du texte) utilisés dans le récit et nous nous pencherons ensuite les éléments thématiques explicitement liés à la berceuse dans ce roman, notamment le désir de transmission, l’enfance, la maternité et la collectivité. En nous basant sur les théories des écritures migrantes et mémorielles, de l’hybridité et de la filiation, nous montrerons que Kim Thúy parvient habilement à brouiller les frontières entre le roman mémoriel et la berceuse. Enfin, nous espérons que notre étude contribuera à mieux saisir et à (re)définir ce qu’est une berceuse, et à montrer la fluidité, la beauté et la puissance de ce genre. In this article, we will examine how the writer Kim Thúy plays with the codes of the lullaby to ensure the transmission of the individual and collective story of the narrator in her first novel, Ru (2009). Our study will be carried out in two stages: we will first analyze the semantic and poetic elements (repetition, recurrence, rhythm, division of text) used in the story and then we will look at the thematic elements explicitly related to the lullaby in this novel, including desire for transmission, childhood, motherhood and community. Basing our reflection on the theories of migrant and memorial writings, hybridity and filiation, we will show that Kim Thúy skillfully manages to blur the boundaries between the memorial novel and the lullaby. L’étude des parcours individuels à travers cet espace transfrontalier enrichit notre connaissance des phénomènes de mobilité. Une attention toute particulière est ici accordée au récit de l’expérience des personnes en migration dont les témoignages ont été sollicités.
