Le transfert, au XVIIe siècle, du genre picaresque d’origine espagnole au domaine historique et culturel allemand l’illustre. Ce transfert se fait par étapes successives de traductions et de réécritures. L’étude de ce qui varie et de ce qui est conservé du modèle espagnol permet d’observer quels sont les enjeux pour les traducteurs et imitateurs allemands dans cette intertextualité. Literature constitutes a privileged field for aesthetic and ideological connections and for cultural transfers. The transfer of the Spanish picaresque novel to the German cultural field during the seventeenth century is a good illustration of this. That transfer happened through successive steps of translation and re-writing.
