Ces textes sont étudiés dans le sillage de l’œuvre de Dostoïevski, avec qui Soloviev et Merejkovski se lièrent d’amitié, et dont la figure antéchristique célèbre se révèle être le Grand Inquisiteur, dans la légende racontée dans Les Frères Karamazov.Ces auteurs lient christianisme et révolution dans le cadre d’une réflexion sur l’avènement d’une société nouvelle, la venue de l’Antéchrist représentant le déclenchement d’une révolution destiné à mettre fin à une société corrompue pour en instaurer une nouvelle, régénérée. This paper studies the figures of the Antechrist in Soloviev’s A Story of Antichrist (1900) and in Merejkovski’s Christ and Antichrist trilogy, which novels deals with Julian the apostate (The Death of the Gods, 1895), Leonardo da Vinci (Ressurection of Gods, 1900) and Peter the Great and his son (Peter and Alexis, The Antichrist, 1904). This novels are considered as being in the wake of Dostoevski’s work, an author with whom Soloviev and Merejkovski were friends, and whose famous Antichrist is The Grand Inquisitor, in the legend told in the novel The Brothers Karamazov.These autors make a link between christianism and revolution, within the framework of their thought about the advent of a new society.
