List montre de quelle manière ces forces se créent, se développent et prospèrent grâce à leur circulation et à leurs interactions. L’économiste s’intéressera ainsi aux chemins de fer, dont il deviendra lui-même un pionnier à partir des années 1830, en Amérique, en France et en Allemagne. List, à l’instar des saint-simoniens français, faisait partie de ceux à qui la perspective de la construction de vastes réseaux ferrés inspirait la vision utopique d’un monde pacifié où les armées permanentes deviendraient inutiles. Mais face à l’évolution du monde telle qu’elle se dessine au début des années 1840, List renoncera à cette dimension utopique de sa vision des réseaux de transport du futur tout en poursuivant son engagement au service de la construction ferroviaire, au service de l’Allemagne. Friedrich List’s theory of productive forces is central to his dynamic approach to economic and political realities. List showed how productive forces are created and how they develop and prosper thanks to their circulation and interaction. The economist subsequently devoted his attention to steam-powered means of transportation, and would himself become a pioneer in railway construction in the 1830s, in the United States, in France and in Germany. Like the French Saint-Simonians, List was one of those for whom the prospect of a rapid expansion of international rail networks inspired a utopian vision of a new world at peace where standing armies would no longer be needed. Dans ces fictions de la Russie soviétique aux registres très variés, une place est laissée à la musique. Cette place est parfois ténue, mais souvent révélatrice de la manière dont l’art des sons peut rencontrer la grande Histoire, inscrire sa propre histoire dans celle – plus vaste – des hommes, et ainsi l’explorer, l’interroger, la raconter. This paper aims to investigate the following novels: Quiet street (Sivtzev vrajek) by Mikhail Osorgin, Tchevengour by Andrei Platonov, and The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov. Even though these fictional works of Soviet Russia offer various registers, they all involve music to some degree.
