Présentation
Textes & Contextes is linked to the Interlanguage Center – Texte, Image, Languages (EA 4182) – a research laboratory of the University of Burgundy. Its main focus is on foreign cultures and deals with questions such as the representation of national or regional identities through different types of discourse (public, political, philosophical, historic, literary, cinematographic…) as well as the linguistic expression of these identities.

Qu’elles utilisent un support numérique, analogique ou biologique, les images « morphiques » que sont les iconomorphoses déstabilisent et fluidifient le sens, tendant vers une plus grande plasticité des images. Les neuf articles que compte ce volume interrogent ces multiples réappropriations, au croisement entre l’art, la technologie, l’intelligence artificielle et la culture visuelle.
Whether using a digital, analogic or biological medium, the “morphic” images which are iconomorphoses destabilize and fluidify meaning - enabling a greater plasticity of images. The nine articles in this volume explore such multiple reappropriations, at the crossroads of art,technology, artificial intelligence and visual culture.-

Ce volume thématique explore la représentation du monde hispanique contemporain à travers les séries télévisées, un média populaire par excellence. Il met en lumière la richesse des représentations d'une aire culturelle plurielle, ainsi que les enjeux éthiques, sociaux et politiques soulevés par celles-ci. Les articles, répartis en deux sections selon l’aire géographique — l’Espagne, d’une part, et l’Amérique du Nord, d’autre part —, s'intéressent à la manière dont l'imaginaire fictionnel convoque des réalités culturelles et historiques, révélant ainsi des problématiques identitaires et sociales à un niveau local, régional ou national.
This thematic volume explores the representation of the contemporary Hispanic world through television series, a popular medium par excellence. It highlights the wealth of representations of a plural cultural area, as well as the ethical, social and political issues they raise. The articles, divided into two geographical sections – Spain on the one hand, and North America on the other – focus on the way in which the fictional imagination summons up cultural and historical realities, thus revealing identity and social issues on a local, regional or national level.
Este volumen temático explora la representación del mundo hispánico contemporáneo a través de las series de televisión, un medio de comunicación popular por excelencia. Destaca la riqueza de las representaciones dentro de un espacio cultural diverso, así como los desafíos éticos, sociales y políticos que estas plantean. Los artículos, organizados en dos secciones según el área geográfica —España, por un lado, y América del Norte, por otro—, analizan cómo la ficción recurre a realidades culturales e históricas, revelando así problemáticas identitarias y sociales a nivel local, regional o nacional.
